Anyone who has this TV or has seen this TV, or even knows something about Panasonic…Please, by all means, let me know.
AND PLEASE don’t come in here with that LCD is better than Plasma SH I T…or dont buy a plasma because it will go out in 2 hours BS…

Hey:
Your best bet is to go to www.epinions.com. Just type in the model number and there are 6 reviews. This site has pretty comprehensive electronics reviews. I generally go there before making any electronics purchases and read the reviews of all my alternatives. Hope this helps.

Hi there,
I know what you mean about those people that say LCD is better than Plasma. But what people don’t understand is that in terms of the black levels is that Plasma is still the best, reason being that Plasma can replicate the purest black, while LCD, even though good cannot get that high as it cannot shut off the backlight for a particular section only.
As for the Panasonic TH42PX60, it is an awesome system and I rate it as one of the better systems next to the Pioneer Systems. Only thing is that it does not have a PC input, if you want to hook up a laptop to the TV. That is the difference between the Panasonic TH42PX600 series. The 600 series also has more speakers and can do a simulated surround sound system.
Consumers Report rated this within the top 5 I believe.
Panasonic plasmas
Good choice my friend. Panasonic makes the best TV for the price in my opinion.(there are some nicer plasmas out there but for twice as much money)
30 billion colors, new thinned out glass for a brighter picture and lighter weight, real-black drive for great dark scenes, 10,000-1 contrast, SD card slot, HDMI w/AVI, and a 60,000 hour half-life.
